Note: The camera will not record if the SD card is not in the correct format or is not properly recognized.
- Why does the video quality appear blurry?
Blurry video may be due to:
- Low lighting conditions: Ensure the area has adequate lighting for clear recording.
- Dust or smudges on the lens: Clean the camera lens (charger lid) regularly to maintain clarity. Also, keep in mind the camera has a limited 70° viewing angle which may reduce field of vision.
- The SD card storage is filling up quickly. Why?
Yes, the camera records in standard video format without Wi-Fi or compression features. As a result, it consumes more space compared to smart cameras. Use a higher capacity microSD card (up to 128GB) for longer recording duration.
- Sound recording is not clear. What could be the reason?
The camera can clearly record normal conversation (around 60 dB) within an 8-foot range. However:
- It cannot capture whispers or very low-volume sounds.
- Background noises like fans or appliances near the camera may interfere with audio clarity.
Make sure the installation area is quiet and free from strong ambient noise for better results.
- The camera gets heats up during use. Is this normal?
Yes, it is normal for the camera to become warm during continuous video recording. Due to its compact design, heat dissipation is limited—especially with no active cooling or ventilation except through the USB port. Ensure the camera is placed in a well-ventilated area.
Example: Just like a mobile phone heats up during long video recordings or gaming, this device may warm up with continuous use.
- How to record using a power bank
To record using a power bank, connect the camera to the power bank using the provided USB cable.
Important: Do not connect the device to both a power socket and a power bank at the same time. Use only one power source at a time.
