Answer: Yes, the CR123A battery is replaceable. You can easily find replacements online or at most electronics stores.
Q. Can this detector be used outdoors?
Answer: No, this device is designed for indoor use only. Avoid installing it in direct sunlight, rain, or high humidity areas.
Q. Does the device work during power outages?
Answer: Yes, it runs on a battery and remains fully functional even during power cuts, sending alerts via the app if WiFi is available.
Q. Will it still sound an alarm if WiFi is disconnected?
Answer: Yes, the device has an internal sound alarm that works independently of WiFi. However, app notifications will not work without WiFi.
Q. How do I test if the smoke sensor is working properly?
Answer: Press the test button on top of the unit. It will beep and flash the LED light if functioning correctly.
