- Why does the camera appear offline despite being powered on?
Below is Possible Reasons:
- Out of WiFi Range: The camera may be too far from your WiFi router. Ensure it is installed within 10–20 feet of the router for a stable connection.
- Connected to Temporary Hotspot: Your phone might be connected to the camera’s temporary hotspot instead of your home WiFi. Open the app and switch to the correct network.
- Restart & Reconfigure: Try restarting both the camera and the router. Then, reconfigure the camera using the app.
- Why won't the camera connect to my WiFi network?
The camera won't connect if it's not on a 2.4GHz WiFi network (it doesn't support 5GHz). Also, avoid special characters or spaces in your WiFi name or password. Ensure the camera is placed within 10–20 feet of the router during setup. If it still doesn't connect, reset the camera and follow the app’s step-by-step setup instructions.
- Why isn’t the camera saving footage to the SD card?
